Digital competence in improving the care and stimulation of directors of educational institutions

Abstract

School director becomes the essential link in the implementation of the III Improvement of the National Education System, therefore, their attention and stimulation manifests as a need in accordance with their professional performance. The systematization regarding the attention and stimulation of the directors of educational institutions, as well as the diagnosis carried out in the territory of the Holguín Province, reflect insufficiencies in the implementation of digital competencies in the development of these processes, which allowed us to visualize a contradiction manifested between the need to improve the attention and stimulation of directors of educational institutions through digital skills and the current conception of that process. The objective is to develop a procedure for the attention and stimulation of directors of educational institutions, which contributes to the improvement of their digital skills.
