SEgurIdad y SAber provides immediate Open Access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free and open access to research contributes to greater global exchange of knowledge. Its content can be accessed freely and universally, at no cost to the reader, through the Internet or any other means.

The journal publishes in accordance with the principles of open access in the “diamond route”, so there are no charges for processing or publishing articles.

SEgurIdad y SAber operates under a Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial 4.0 Internacional (CC BY-NC) license that allows sharing (copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format) and adapting (remixing, transforming and building upon the material) on the condition that authorship is acknowledged and no commercial use is made of the materials.
