Firefighters. Recognition on Cuban postage stamps

Abstract

Before radio, telephone, cinema, television and the Internet, Postal Mail continues to be a means of disseminating images with a meaning and content based on the different postal elements (postage stamps, airgrams, cards). whole postcards, postcards, postmarks) whose impact reaches millions of people in the world, either as users or as recipients of mail services. The image is used to recognize or highlight a certain fact or activity. The Cuban post office has recognized the work of those men who, at the cost of preserving their own lives, work tirelessly to save the lives of others. The issues of Cuban stamps referring to the theme of firefighters are shown and where the use of different technical means and those of individual protection of the firefighter can be observed.
