Abstract
The low pressure fire extinguisher is the efficient solution to control the fire in its initial stages. Fire extinguishers have a useful life of several years, which can be extended by carrying out corrective actions regulated by the current standard: NC-ISO-11602_2. So, a very frequent corrective activity is the recharging process, in which the extinguishing material and its propellant are replaced. For this reason, the Cienfuegos branch office has decided to modernize the equipment for recharging fire extinguishers. This process that involves specialized equipment cannot do without a worktable where these operations are concerted. Therefore, this work presents the design of a worktable for recharging low pressure fire extinguishers.
