Abstract

Water fre extinguishing systems are present in buildings, warehouses, factories, hotels, cinemas, theaters, among others. Given the possible failure of these, sockets will be installed on the facades of the buildings connected to the system, or dry column systems. According to NC 212: 2019, a 77 mm diameter socket and non-return valves (check) will be installed to connect the hoses of frefghting vehicles, equipped with rings and Gost-type quick coupling connections, compatible with the technique. of the Cuban Fire Department. The sockets acquired by SEISA (IPF-41) do not have the fttings required by the Cuban standard,  which is why the objective of this work is the manufacture of a piece for adapting Gost fttings for IPF-41 façade sockets.
