Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Article Submission Instructions

The process of submitting articles will be carried out online, through the email revistaseisa@seisa.cu

Mandatory documents

1. Letter of transfer of rights in the name of the magazine SEgurIdad y SAber, stating that the work has not been published before, nor has it been sent for evaluation to another publication at the same time.

2. Brief summary of the curriculum (maximum 100 words) of the author(s) and a photo (front). You must add an email address and/or contact telephone number.

3. ID of ORCID. https://orcid.org/

4. Title: No more than 20 words.

5. Abstract: no more than 130 words. It must include a brief introduction on the subject, objective of the work, materials and research methods used (depending on the type of article), results and conclusions (in the present).

6. Keywords (3 to 6)

Points 2 to 5 must be submitted in Spanish and English.

The results published in the Revista SEgurIdad y SAber are presented under the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc- sa /4.0/escritura.es), which allows any reader to use free of these as long as you refer the source. An editor's commitment to the publication of a work must be respected by the journal. Once an original is accepted, the author has the right to have her work published in the shortest time possible. The main author has the right to withdraw the article from the evaluation process at any time without affecting its consideration for future publications.
